The Director's Week

You run a complex program
with inadequate tools.

I
Payroll across five spreadsheets
A different tab for every cantor, organist, and substitute. Payments logged manually. W-9s scattered across email threads. January arrives and you spend two weeks hunting records the IRS expects you to have.
II
Music packets assembled by hand
Propers from one PDF. The Kyriale from another. A motet from a scanned library book. Then back to the printer, the folder, the email attachment. Every weekend the same ritual, with the same chance for something to be missing at the first downbeat.
III
Scheduling through text message chains
A sub cancels Saturday night. You cycle through contacts, negotiate fees, confirm availability — all in a thread no one else can see. The next director inherits nothing. The institutional knowledge is in your phone.

Platform Features

Everything in one dashboard.
Nothing left out.

Musician Network
Instead of word-of-mouth and cold emails, a searchable roster filtered by instrument, Latin proficiency, vocal range, and calendar availability. Verified profiles, repertoire history, and director references — before you make first contact.
Payroll + Stripe Connect
Instead of spreadsheets and envelope cash, direct bank deposits to every musician on your roster. 1099-NEC generation handled automatically at year-end. You close January without touching a single tax form.
Service Contracts
Instead of a handshake and a prayer, signed agreements for every engagement — scope, fee, and repertoire defined before the first rehearsal. No misunderstandings at the sacristy door.
Repertoire Planner
Instead of six open browser tabs and a paper calendar, the liturgical calendar, Kyriale, Propers, and vestment colors in a single planning view. Map every Sunday and feast from Advent through Ordinary Time. Export to your choir folder in one click.
Diction Reference
Instead of scattered PDFs and personal notes, Latin, Italian, German, and French pronunciation guides with IPA transcriptions built in. Push directly to singers before rehearsal — no attachments, no reprinting.
Fundraising Suite
Instead of a separate donor spreadsheet and a prayer-chain email blast, a donor CRM and campaign dashboard calibrated to the sacred music context. Build and sustain the endowment your program deserves — inside the same platform where you run everything else.

From the Founder

G
I spent twelve years managing sacred music programs in diocesan parishes. My “system” was seven spreadsheets, a shared Google Drive, a text thread for substitutes, and a filing cabinet of W-9s I hoped I could find in January. I built Cantori because directors who hold the liturgical standard this high deserve a platform that holds theirs.
